Game was good. But Still, our defenders are getting injured left and rt. We need some cover. Ramsey was terrific. They couldnt slow down Walcott. Csz did much better except for a couple of his distributions were terrible. Still think we need a GK.

I'd almost settle for a GK, Defender, and DM at this point. There has got to be plenty of them out there that are better than what we currently have and are at non exorbitant prices.

yeah, that's why I said I'd be pleased. but no home run signings kinda sucks. that'd be the downside. maybe they're what we need now, but hurts us future windows.

I'd be surprised if we got a DM. Alex Song was so perfect for our system that I wouldn't mind taking him back. Hell Flamini is a free agent and I'd definitely take a punt on him. But I don't see Wenger actually buying a DM. A midfielder yes. DM no.

For me this goes back to when we prob could have got vertonghen. We could have made deals in years past and it is catching up to us now.

Have faith in this team. We are extremely talented at every position and it's only a matter of depth that we should be concerned with. We need to concentrate on staying healthy and preparing for our opponents to play us aggressively. Great to come away with the win yesterday!

I would certainly welcome Flamini. When I say DM, I just mean someone who can play in the holding role. Flamini would be fine there.
I don't think we'd be best to overpay there, because when healthy we have some depth there, but we do need cover, and Flamini can play anywhere in the midfield and provide emergency cover at RB.
Also reading about Gareth Barry wanting out at City, but his wages are so absurd. Everton are said to be interested as well.
