"Arsene Wenger is a specialist in failure."

Well look who won a trophy this year.

ETA:
this picture is awesome for several reasons. First of all we have Santi with the short shorts. Secondly we have Ramsey, MOTM, playing on his phone. Probably tweeting or some bullshite. Just won the FA cup? No big. And then there's BFG's BF goofy smile.

Some thoughts.

That game was incredible. I'm sure for the neutral it was probably a lot of fun. I was relieved it was over and that we could finally move on from this idiotic trophy drought. Also it made me happy that Wenger was happy. It's been a tough nine years but it seems a very good thing that the year we decide to spend money we win a cup. Hopefully that means more spending.

Thank you Santi Cazorla. You saved my life.

I swear Wynalda thought Sanogo was the second coming but Yaya proves the value of someone who can run beyond the CB's. His movement was very good. His touch in general wasn't, and he's a clumsy arse player. If he was a little crisper with his touches we might have scored earlier. In general I thought we didn't play all that well until Sanogo came on. Suddenly we had more space.

The beginning of this game reminded me of the 'Pool game, and I thought we were going to be fricked. The fact that Santi scored early helped us retain our shape which usually goes to shite when we are chasing a lead.

We had a good fight back though we were wasteful with our chances and I think it's a testament to our depth that Wilshere and Rosicky came on so late, and had an impact in quickening the game. Wilshere had the key pass in the Ramsey goal, with an entry ball to Sanogo that he sort of controlled, somehow getting it to Giroud who did a wonderful backheel to Ramsey whose finish was so precise it was almost unbelievable.

I swear to god I thought I was going to die when I saw Fabianski come out. Christ that nearly killed me.

ditto to all of that. also, kos injuring himself on the equalizer triggered a rvp/b'ham flashback. still have no idea how kos kept playing. that injury looked bad.

seeing the relief on AW's face was worth everything. hope this inspires him to buy more this summer.

This describes me most of the game. That Gibbs missed would have been talked about for years if we lost.

I'm sure it was mentioned many times in the game thread, but Wynalda was so fricking annoying. I almost muted it while watching tonight. I realized how truly awful he was during the game when this thought crossed my mind: Man, Gus Johnson has been quiet.

Speaking of, I stupidly forgot to record the show after. I even thought today right around 2 o'clock that I should have recorded the show after so I could watch the trophy presentation. Nope, I got to the 95th minute and the game stopped. I couldn't wait until the replay at 1 am tomorrow. Shitty Fox Sports Go doesn't show replays like NBCSports. So, I had to ruin it. I was on pins and needles all game. To just have the final score come up was almost as disappointing as losing would have been. Wish I could have experienced the excitement like the rest of my fellow Gooners did.

wynalda is so much worse than Gus Johnson. his only mistakes today were getting names wrong.

Gus isn't that bad. He wasn't great when he first started but he now knows how to call the game. I love how excited he gets. I also miss him during March Madness.

Wynalda has no idea how to do anything related to sports journalism. He's just a moron.

Although winning another cup would be sweet, I would like for us to focus on the PL and the CL. We ended the season on a really great streak and hopefully we can continue that into next season.

We basically lost the title in four games, losing to Chelsea like we did, dropping points against Swansea and Man City, and losing to Everton. Maybe our shite form started with the loss to Stoke, or the loss to 'Pool, but since the Everton loss we've won 7 games if you count the FA Cup semifinal which was won on spotkicks. We have to push on next season. We have to get rid of whoever doesn't want to be here, and buy quality. We need 3 or 4 more players who can contribute. Maybe we'll have someone step up like Gnabry (likely) or Miyachi (unlikely) but we need some proven depth.

If I didn't know better, I would have assumed he was the one with 0 soccer experience. He sounded like a leery random sports fan that they just threw in the booth. He was making so many comments that were atypical of a soccer fan, that it was just confounding.

What a great game and great win for Arsenal. The pressure of winning this Cup was immense and it showed early. Thank God for the little wizard and that beautiful set piece goal.

Not much more can be said about Ramsey, his play this season has just been absurdly great. The season held a lot of promise and we collected on some of that yesterday. Spend Arsene, we aren't far away from competing for the PL and CL trophies.

The season was a lot of fun boys and girl.

I love you all.. I LOVE THIS TEAM.

I was a lighter skinned version of the dude with the scarf for most of the game.

Minus the scarf.

Plus glasses.

And at a pub.

I loved the play of Sanogo yesterday. He had one of his best games if not his best game for Arsenal so far. Nearly snagged the winner and should've had the assist for a Gibbs winner. He's a bit clumsy but you can see the potential.

I'd love to see him loaned out to a relegation tier team and see him get a bunch of minutes. Hopefully he pans out but he's not ready to get significant minutes for Arsenal just yet. Also, his tweet before the game was awesome.

Only if we get another striker, as there is a distinct possibility that we won't.

there's pretty close to a zero chance we don't add a striker this off-season. you never know with AW, but surely, surely we'll get one.
