This seems like a little bit of an ignorant take to me. At least with the part about his move to striker would make him a false 9. English people tend to sound really dumb when discussing the false 9. if Wenger really thinks he's the next RvP or Henry, that wouldn't be a false 9...

That guy is stupid. I'm hoping we get Draxler but I'm not optimistic. Only because my heart can't handle that much hope.

I think if we can compete monetarily we're as attractive a destination to him as any club in the world, probably more so. The question is are we willing to match the transfer fees and wages of the Chelsea's, Bayerns, and Reals of the world.

whoah. Yáll are up there, however. Any quality player wants to play with Mesut and Santi. I´m glad to see Arsene not being questioned anymore, guy didn´t deserve the slagging he had been getting.

From all indications the combination of the EPL, Wenger, and Arsenals German contingent would make us Draxlers preference if everything else was equal. Of course that's all based on secondhand sources and hearsay so who really knows

I talked to Drax on the phone just now. Said he wants to play for Arsenal and the U.S. Big Klinsmann fan.

yeah, same here. though he'd be a solid depth piece. buying a 30 yo player that likely will be a bit player this year and even more of one next year doesn't seem like a Wenger move. but we're over a barrel.

looks like Zelalem, Ajayi, and Afobe practiced with the first team today.

rosicky and monreal both could be good to go tomorrow. rosicky was supposed to practice with his mask today to see how it felt.

The fact that Rosicky is a possible go is really impressive to me. Back in college, I had my nose kicked in during a Co-ed intramural soccer game doing a diving header. I eventually needed 2 surgeries to correct. After each one, I basically had gauze stuffed up my nose for a week each. I was a mouth breather for the entire time. I was hazy and clogged the whole week. I had a tough enough time going about my normal day-to-day activities. I could not imagine playing top level soccer.

yeah, I'd imagine he'll sit the bench for the next couple of weeks. can't be the easiest thing to play with.

Makes sense we're getting Ramsey and arteta back in a week. Can't have too many players healthy at once it'd be inefficient

well, at least Rambo and Arteta will be back soon, regardless.

the Ox has really impressed the 2 times he's ever played that role in a real match, so this could be interesting to see. wonder if this means AW will go more defensive elsewhere (aka not start Poldi).
