finally finished the second half. i fully admit i was wrong: flamini was a brilliant signing. quite possibly the only player who actually played well yesterday for us
that really was one of the ugliest home matches i can recall. we were worn out. i will gladly take the three points.
gnabry was jittery early, but he looked really confident in the second half.
now onto WBA. i'm going to guess
Viviano
Jenks-Hayden/Ajayi-TV5-Monreal
Arteta-Olsson
Gnabry-Eisfeld-Ryo
Beowulf
the bench will likely be strong, but i hope we don't have to use it. i could see Gnabry being rested since he'll have to feature v. Swansea, but we don't really have many attacking options. to play with.

As much as i have ragged on Arsene, he really does turn no name players into world class.
If you're referring to Ramsey with this bit then I have to point out that at one point Ramsey was considered a world class potential, he just had a terrible injury and then the Speed suicide really affected him.

just remembered frimmy. he'll probably start alongside arteta. probably no gnabry starting and either eisfeld or olsson out wide.

Not just ramsey, but several players over his tenure at Arsenal. A lot of players had potential, im talking about essentially these younger players making a name for themselves, we usually just sell them and they win somewhere else. its not like we had to break the bank on ramsey.
Ozil is really the only recent already established player from a huge club we have signed. I guess poldi used to play for bayern.
kosc was playing in ligue 2 not long ago and is now one of the top cb in the premier league. He played extremely well saturday.
Lets go back before he Arsene was coach of arenal, there was this kid name Thiery Henry he coached at moncaco.

Theo to have minor abdominal procedure, out until after international break.
Wenger said Gnabry will feature tomorrow, that Bendtner will likely start, and that there will be a mix of youth and experience.
if the pics posted in the arsenal dot com gallery are any indication, park chu-young might be included in the squad?

rosicky is a week away, according to Arsene. his wording was confusing. sounded like he may be in the squad for Napoli.
says Poldi, Ox, and Diaby are doing well but nowhere near ready. Ox is another month and a half away.
Fabianski and Viviano will be the two GKs tomorrow. looks like Fabby will start. had a nasal problem sunday, that's why he was out.

I know some of you read /r/gunners but for those of you that don't I enjoyed this comment..
quote:
I like to think Wenger is in for the long con. The past few years of trial and tribulation for Bendtner were coldly calculated moves made well in advance by Wenger.
A few years ago Bendtner was good, but would never reach his potential due to his ego and lack of work ethic. So Wenger loans him out to multiple clubs intentionally to teach the guy humility.
He has mediocre success at lower mid table club (sunderland) then hardly plays for a great club (Juventus). Wenger nearly pawns him off to the highest bidding bottom-of-the-table team, but strangely doesn't buy another striker and decides to keep Bendtner on the last day.
Uncharacteristically, Bendtner releases a series of mature statements regarding how hard he's willing to work for the team and how he plans to give it his all, throwing in hash tags like #secondchance. Wenger has broken him now and is ready to remold him into something greater. Now the Boss makes frequent statements of how he has faith in the guy who is ready to take his second chance, building a new sense of earned confidence and showing his renewed trust.
Bendtner goes on to put in a hard shift in the league cup, and nicks a hard earned goal shortly before being subbed off to mild applause. He continues to grow as a mature team player and takes his chances well when he gets them as the season progresses.
We are now in the champions league final against Barcelona. Giroud is sent off shortly after halftime for a second yellow for shooting after the offside whistle is blown. Bewildered, he complains he couldn't hear the whistle due to all the noise in the stadium. Bendtner is subbed on to provide attacking prowess. He humbly steps onto the field and puts in a hardworking display, covering more ground than Ramsey and Flamini combined. The game is tied, and in the 89nd minute Ozil plays a through ball for B23 to run onto, 20 yards from goal, slightly to the right. With Valdes rushing towards him, he deftly chips it over the keeper to secure the victory. The Dane quickly turns to hug Ozil and celebrates with his teamates, deferring the victory to others rather than taking credit. His redemption is complete.
The team celebrates all the way back to London. Fabregas quietly follows, never to return to Barcelona. Wenger goes on to adopt Bendtner after teaching him a true life lesson. They frequently play chess in the park after Wenger retires to a quiet life out of the spotlight.

Haha that was great. Although we only didn't sell him because of the way other transfers panned out.
