I'm right there with you. Price could be a concern though.

Sorry just gonna have to get over it. And Dempsey isn't the issue. We made a profit off of our all transfer dealings this summer and decided not to go and buy another quality player or two. This club is being run to make the most money they can and not being run to win trophies.

Uh oh.

ETA: Simple answer: because he should be holding up a f*cking Arsenal jersey, that's why.

I know everyone really likes Dempsey, as do I, but OBUDan is right we don't need pictures of him in his Spuds gear. It sucks that he went to that club. I hope he does well but I hope his team doesn't. And when we play Tiny Totts I wish nothing but the worst for Dempsey for that game. I will always pull for Americans to do well in England but will not let the fact that if one of our rivals buys an American it won't change the fact that team is still our rival. frick Spuds and Stoke but not the Americans who play for them. There.

Regardless, I think Spurs with their new Gaffer and his style will take longer to adjust than Arsenal and their 3 new Attackers will to our style of play.

Definitely. The main striker needs help from the wide areas too. Everything we get we get through the middle. We need some better movement and bit more creativity from the wide areas. It will draw some attention from the defense leaving the middle a bit more open for Cazorla and Diaby(for the good it will do).

I don't think we have much to worry about from Totts for the time being. 2 points from a possible 9. And they just tied Norwich, who keep getting obliterated.

We took 40 shots on goal in our first two games. 40. If you can get past your Dempsey man crush to see that even with his purchase it would have taken him quite some time to gel with this team. He definitely wasn't the answer to our "problems" and we will be fine.

The Dempsey love was a lot stronger than I expected. But we could have signed him but we already have a good bit of players in the positions that he can play. He would find very hard to get into our first 11 when healthy.

So 3 spots Ox should and could be playing, both wings, and some form of Center Attacking Mid. Podolski is good enough to keep on the pitch, I dunno about Walcott and Gervinho, obviously Diaby is the first sacrifice, but what about the prior 2? To keep Poldi and Ox out there you have to keep one of em on the bench. Gervinho simply isn't technical nor creative enough to help us in the final 3rd, but Walcott without Sagna is null and void.

I'd imagine it will be the same as last week except Ox in for Gervinho.
