Well I was born here, lived here all my life, and speak English and I wouldn't use the USA as a fall back plan once it became apparent I wasn't good enough to play for another country I may be eligible for.
Being a "native American" in the sense you're using it has nothing to do with it.

I need a full list of your guidelines. Here's what I've got so far:
- Lived in America all your life
- Have American citizens for parents (and grandparents) because you can't be a dual-national
- Speak fluent English (and probably English only)
- Don't like Germany or anything from Germany, even if you fulfill the above guidelines
Using those guidelines (and they might not all be correct, just going off of your posts), these members of the USMNT squad going to Brazil would be ineligible:
- Nick Rimando (half-Filipino)
- Omar Gonzalez (both parents are Mexican)
- John Anthony Brooks, Fabian Johnson and Timothy Chandler (Classic German-Americans)
- Mix Diskerud (half-Norwegian)
- Alejandro Bedoya (father I know for sure is Colombian, not sure about mother)
- Jermaine Jones and Julian Green (German-Americans)
- Aron Johannsson (parents are Icelandic)
- Jozy Altidore (half-Haitian)
Again, we can tweak the guidelines if you want, but that's almost half of the team going to the World Cup.
ETA: Wondo's grandparents immigrated to the US from Poland, but he is actually half-Native American. So that works out.
