Ancelotti´s Fate Already Sealed- We´ll Know In Two Hours

Emilio Butragueño, director of international relations at the club, announced after the final match of the season against Getafe that the future of the Italian would be decided this week. Ancelotti himself said the situation would be clarified between Monday and Tuesday. Meanwhile, the club is sounding out possible replacements, with Rafa Benítez the favourite and Unai Emery also an option as first alternative.
The club is leaning to sacking the coach although the fans at the Bernabéu applauded Ancelotti’s name at length before the match against Getafe. The squad is also in favour of the Italian continuing, with Cristiano Ronaldo leading the calls for him to stay. He used his Instagram account to say that he is looking forward to working with the coach next season.
The departure of Ancelotti is all-but done and Adriano Galliani, the Milan vice president, will travel to Madrid to try and convince the coach to return to the San Siro. He will not have it easy because Ancelotti has already announced that he intends to take a sabbatical if he does not continue as Madrid coach.

Absolutely no one can manage the players on that team coupled with the way Perez bought last year....no one....certainly not Rafa....Klopp may cone close.

I would normally agree but Ancelotti's coaching hasn't been that great. Real Madrid was very lucky to win the Champions League last year and they've underperformed domestically (3rd in the league last year, 2nd in the league this year). However, it makes no sense why they're going to replace him with Rafa Benitez who's a great tournament manager but pretty average in league play.

I hope Klopp´s sabbatical comments are to throw the press off. I really do.
I thinks it waaaaay too early for Zinedane.
If it´s between Emery and Rafa, I don´t know. Probably Emery.

Barca is just better right now, IMO... Not sure who would do that much better...
I think Klopp would be a big gamble..
The one negative for Rafa is he doesn't really play an attractive brand of football... So, Perez should be prepared to sit back and play counter attacking football..

Last year was fine. Ancelotti was brought in to win La Decima. He did.
Real Madrid looked like world beaters through December. Through fatigue and injuries, they looked like shite for large portions of the latter half of the year. That's partially Ancelotti's own damn fault, but you don't play coaching carousel over correctable problems. Mourinho received a longer leash after being brought in to do the same thing and shitting on the chests of people who disagreed with him.

Think Benitez would be allowed to do the same thing as Mourinho, and he'd get away with it, because he'd approach things more diplomatically given his history
