The videos coming out are crazy. Especially the one with the backup keeper having to retreat from the ball boys.

FIFAs response will be to turn a blind eye to everything once Morocco slip them a check.

It’s been speculated Diaz’s piss poor penalty was deliberate due to all the controversy.

It had to have been deliberate.

Say what you will about AFCON, but you have to respect their consistency. Consistently the most corrupt and incompetent sports organization the world.

ARTICLE 82 If, for any reason whatsoever, a team withdraws from the competition or does not report for a match, or refuses to play or leaves the ground before the regular end of the match without the authorisation of the referee, it shall be considered looser (sic) and shall be eliminated for good from the current competition. The same shall apply for the teams previously disqualified by decision of CAF.

ARTICLE 84 The team which contravenes the provisions of articles 82 and 83 shall be eliminated for good from the competition. This team will lose its match by 3-0 unless the opponent has scored a more advantageous result at the time when the match was interrupted, in this case this score will be maintained. The Organising Committee may adopt further measures.

Is it consistency to actually follow code for a change instead of making things up like how they treated Eritrea in qualifying?

It’s beyond wild that the ruling took 2 months when it could have been made when Senegal left the field

AFCON giving Morocco two months of extra time. I think that even beats Fergie time.

If you ignore CAF corruption and the AFCON competition rulebook entirely, proper application of the global Laws of the Game also results in a Senegal L

- Leaving the field of play without referee permission is 1 of the 7 yellow card offenses
- All 11 Senegalese players receive yellows
- 3 Senegalese players already sitting on yellows are given a second and sent off
- 8 man Senegal is trounced in ET
