Knew it would be 2-1 before long after we scored

Got carved open on that one
But no worries Brenda is coming on to kill any attack chance we have

Meslier just fell to his knees watching Trafford there

Well at least the performance was decent

Didn’t expect anything from this but damn, Amp and Trafford both won’t want to see their first goal back in the film room.

Had some time this morning between meetings so I was looking at my spreadsheet for tracking results etc.
I was curious if anybody was showing signs struggling this year outside of the newly promoted sides (even though they have all got some points on the board). I looked at only those that have less than a point a game
Fulham - IMHO in the most trouble out of everyone, have only taken two points against sides that have been around them or a newly promoted side. If they don't get points on the board soon, they have a real hard stretch in Dec that will surely lead to a manager sacking.
Bournemouth - Got three points out of a difficult start of the year, could see an uptick in points soon. Should pull away into safety
Spurs - Like Fulham have only taken three points out of a start that should have yielded more. If more points aren't on the board by start of December, they will have a rough season ahead
Sunderland - They have had a hard stretch of matches to start the year, calmer seas ahead to try and get points on the board. However, with European nights on the schedule could they have a Crystal Palace type year since they have so many matches?
Villa - Picking up points against teams around them for the most part, easier run of matches coming at end of this month, likely to be fine
Forest - Have had matches against sides they expect to be around or above and not picked up enough points, hard stretch of matches incoming. Could be a long year for them
In summary Fulham, Forest, and Spurs if I had to guess will be in the relegation battle this year unless something changes in form for those guys. Sunderland is a wildcard given amount of matches they have and if their squad can handle the extra work

Hull appears to be the best of the promoted teams. Our Joffy scored last match.

Hull have done well with their start, have a difficult run of 4 or 5 matches after the Fulham match this weekend. But then a run of matches they should be targeting for points
Tractor boyz still have a decent run of games they need to be getting points from in order to try and make way to safety. They will hit a brick wall starting in December
Coventry had a really difficult stretch at the start of the year but are playing 3 of the bottom 4 teams in the league the next 3 matches. If they get points in those then the season could be on the up, if not they are cooked
One other team I just looked at because I remember Leeds smashed them is Newcastle. They are playing their easier porition of the schedule now, they run into a buzzsaw of top teams from like Nov through Feb, with random matches against lower league teams sprinkled in assume the manager will be sacked in this period.

Great post. I fully expect at least one of the promoted sides to take a tumble before the end of the year. I agree with you about Fulham and spuds. Could be a long season for both. I've said all along that the mackems are in trouble because of Europe. If they get relegated would love us to make a run at Brobbey for next season.
