Figured the 2020-2021 thread had run it’s course so thought I’d start a new one

Anyways,
Reports of Kieran Trippier to Newcastle for £12mil. Haven’t Atletico turned down 20+mil in recent transfer windows or were those all just rumors?
Any other winter window moves expected to happen? Any rumors?

I read that Atletico will get an additional £12mil if Newcastle stay up this season.
So that would make sense.

Spurs still being linked with anyone who has ever even visited Italy thanks to Paratici and Conte.

Leeds have completed the signing of 18-year-old Mateo Joseph Fernandez from Espanyol, as we reported this morning. The highly-rated forward has signed a contract until 2025. He will go into the academy ranks rather than straight into Marcelo Bielsa’s first team. He scored 44 goals in 56 games across three seasons from under-16 to under-19 level and has also featured for Espanyol's B team.

Onana to Inter is a done deal. Though don’t think he’s set to join the team til Summer.

Is Trippier’s contract almost done? That seems like a really low price.

Newcastle also expected to sign Digne from Everton, who has fallen out with Rafa.

They get more if Newcastle stay up and also there are more sellers than buyers at the moment because of covid.

is there any reason you’ve seen why Atleti isn’t even trying to ink another contract?
Posted on 1/4/22 at 9:31 pm to WinnPtiger
The word was he wanted to go back to England

you certainly don’t hear that very often
I guess for a native it’s less noteworthy. I sure hope y’all stay up for Atletis sake. without the rider on the end, that’s criminally undervalued
