Yes, they are still doing it. AFC Mobile is GCPL. Jovik can do a better job answering those questions that I can. Hope he starts a GCPL season thread, local soccer is extremely important to the growth of the game.

CABOSA joined as well. Not sure why they're not listed on the teams page. Here is the announcement link.

Jesters lost to Brilla in PKs in the first round of the US Open Cup. First Jester kicker blasted the ball 30 yards over the bar.

Heartbreaker. That first PK was awful. Came down to the final PK which was saved by the Brilla keeper. Jesters lose 1-1 (4-3).

Am I understanding correctly that Evans and Sanchez are not on the squad this season? If so then no wonder we lost.

Sanchez can rejoin the team whenever he likes. They are working on getting Evans back. There was a rumor after the game last night that he was flying in on Friday. They also have Jordan Hulme signed. He can't play until June 1st

Winning consistently without those two would be impressive... especially with Judice banged up. I thought the back line was improved last season which should keep them in most matches. Let's hope Sanchez rejoins, Evans returns, and Judice heals. I don't see a lot of consistency in the offensive third without those three unless there has been major talent being brought in. Time will tell. I hope they do well. Laz is an excellent trainer that should have the squad ready to compete.
