He went over 80 minutes like 25 times last season. His fitness isn't great, but I don't think it's that bad. Considering the lack of pace in the entire team, I imagine all 3 subs will be for midfield players anyways.

I'm glad because he had his best ever year in MLS last year, but goodness, Houston has waaaaay too many old guys in midfield. Rico is 32, Brad is 33, Boniek is 31, and Maidana is 28.
When Houston goes to a 5 man midfield, Barnes will certainly go wide, so that's some pace.

Apparently a bid for Schalke's Sane is coming from City in the 55 mil euro range.
Also allegedly in talks for a loan deal with a 25 mil pound option to purchase Isco.
I guess we're just aiming to have 10 attacking mids by the end of the season.

Lol I mean I totally expect to be turned down, but you know how it's gone recently.....Once City want someone they don't give a frick what it costs.
I'm not a fan of the move. The kid is a badass, but he isn't as proven as KDB or Sterling. He's a great talent, probably shown more flash than Sterling has, but it hasn't been in the EPL and that transition can sometimes be tricky.
I mean we also already have like six guys who play that same position.....
