Stones handing in his transfer request loses some of Everton's leverage.

Seems as though Iturbe may be convinced to go on loan to Genoa after all. They must be reassuring him that he's figuring in Roma's plans next season.
Ljajic may be the more likely to end up in the EPL. Roma has supposedly offered him to Aston Villa.
There's also rumors about moving Ibarbo and perhaps even Gervinho.
All those moves would mean Sabatini is after someone like Yarmolenko et al. . .
Possible very bad news is that there's been a flurry of rumors that Strootman may not be recovering on schedule. . . even that he may miss the complete season at which point one begins to wonder if he'll ever come back.
Sadly, we may, like Juve, be looking for emergency midfield depth.
