Happy Fourth fellow fairies and about three chicks. Serious off and on pitch history between these two countries/teams.

Battison/Schumacher in 1982, that was an incredible match as was the 1986 semi-final. Should be a great contest.

Kickoff temp will feel like 86. Definitely favors Germany.

Can't wait to see the lineups. If Low doesn't play Lahm at RB he's outsmarting himself and giving France a very real chance in this one.

He could play either right or left back and Germany would be better than with him in the center.

ETA: Google has Griezmann back in the team, but they also have Pogba listed as striker, so take that fwiw. They did, however, have the German lineup correct.

ETA2: Google just goofed with positions FIFA lineups

My French is pretty shitty, but from reading on l'Equipe, it looks like Griezmann and Pogba will start. Giroud starts on the bench.

love Germany's lineup today. Khedira and Schweinsteiger in midfield. Lahm at RB and Klose up front.

No shite. Is ESPN showing the Nathan's hot dog eating contest or something lame like that?
