It'll be interesting to see how Torres follows up his "eff the world" brace.

Imagine the fallout from Spain tiki-tocking a 2-2 score line to see Croatia send a header into the back of the net at 90+2 as the pitch is flooded with a million flares.

The difference from 2002 is that the Danes and Swiss could trust each other.

I'm wearing the red and white checkerboard t-shirt I bought in Croatia after the 2006 World Cup as my show of support. Igniting flares probably won't go over too well with the owners of the Londoner, or the fire department. Maybe I can convince some female patrons to bare their breasts in celebration should Croatia deliver something worth celebrating.

I remember Italy crying in 2004. Those tears sustained me. Need more tears. Spain and Croatia, you know what to do.

Just make sure they're better looking than the Croatian public officials that got fired earlier in the week.

Can't wait for Jelavic to screw over the mobsters by scoring a goal to make it 3-2 then fleeing the arena in a taxi driven by Esmeralda Villalobos.

Esmeralda Villalobos.

Wow, didn't know that was her character's name.

How about that, learned something useless for life before 12.00. Time to sluff off until tomorrow.

I like that they're using head to head, but that should only apply for two teams. If Italy wins 5-0, there's no way they shouldn't advance.
