I hunt on a lease in Kisatchie near Peason and the birds are plentiful, not pressured at all.

Opening morning I heard a few but they never really hammered down and hit the ground gobbling.

Saturday I heard 6 or 7 on another lease nearby.

Yesterday and today I haven't heard a single bird. We have a ton of birds but this year seems off.

I've talked with people who also struggled and think they're done or the cold weather really screwed them up.

Anyone else having problems like this?

I know alot of people like ATN but reading reviews it seems they have had some problems. I see the IR kits on Facebook that mount to the scopes for like 150$

Anyone have any input in this? I know thermal is the way to go and more expensive. I would spend up to 1500 on something reliable but if the IR will do the job im open to that as well.

Going to pick mine up on a couple hours. Anyone else have one? Pros and cons?

Planning on being there for a week beginning next weekend. What's the best bait to use and what can I expect to catch? Mainly night fishing from the beach probably right lining but would be interested in early morning fishing as well.

Someone's having a bad day

Got a 999 SIGH wired up last week. Put the finishing touches on today such as transducer and GPS puck mounted. I had the unit on and cranked the boat and the screen went dark. It's still getting power but there are no graphics, just black lines that you can barely see. Anyone have issues like this before?
