What's With All the Velvet Bucks?

Is it just me or seems like qlot of velvet bucks being killed this year?

Really great weather so far. Normally it’s still hot as shite right now. Most areas get a week or less to kill one in velvet, and this year that week was excellent conditions.

Usually by Oct 1 I have very few still in velvet. This year I had several. I notice it every year and especially this one it’s on younger bucks. But that’s my experience. May not be legit

Not just you...we have more bucks still in velvet than I can ever remember
