Good. We need more offensive material out there. People are becoming fricking socially retarded.

Man, we have allowed this to go on too long. I have a friend who was telling me about his daughter's first date..

She just had her first date.. and it was a meet at the mall type thing. The BOY NEVER TALKED TO HER. He literally sat across the table and messaged her! The whole time.

Boys can't rough house anymore. It's toxic.

SANITY must return!

You know, I've really tried to stay out of the debate on Facebook and censorship as much as I can. Why? I barely use Facebook. Might be on there 3-4× a year at best.

But I'll say this... the internet is not a fricking safe space. It has some good uses and informative sites but also has the most garbage that humanity can produce, concentrated at the touch of a person's fingertips.

There's some good there but there's also militant terrorist propaganda, beastiality, kid diddling, bigotry, racism and subhuman behavior and cruelty.

It's not a "safe space". If people want a safe space, they should attend church or various support group meetings, as opposed to trying to change the content and context of the internet. The net, including Facebook, is a good gauge of where we stand as a species. A direct look into our progress and souls, so to speak.

The problem we have is selected censorship. Facebook will silence anything they see as a conservative view, but the most extreme of leftist and secular views are both praised and protected. There is no fair standard, therefore how can they enact any type of "standard" at all without bathing in hypocrisy?

More government intervention

Oh give it a rest already.

You’re not fooling anybody with your self-righteous, “I’m so above-it-all” schtick. It’s pretty clear you favor government intervention that YOU agree with. Which makes you no different than those you castigate for hypocrisy.

that's the idea you robot frick. You don't get to decide what's offensive, and people should be subjected to offensive things and learn how to fricking deal with it

I’d like Suckerburg to show me in the Constitution where it says people have a right not to be offended by anything.
