Sounds like someone should come up with a competing platform.

Thank god for the free market. Someone or some company will fill the void if people want to see Hank online.

You Tube, Facebook, etc... don't control jack shite.

Iraqveteran888, FPS Russia, and hickok45 are 3 of my favorite youtube channels. I’ll be mad if they’re taken down

Actually they do.

Youtube is clearly the only viable uploading video service on the internet. Daily motion and Vimeo aren’t real competitions, and they’ve destroyed Vid.me and Blip TV

Facebook has long time destroyed Myspace, Friendster, etc

We need new antitrust laws

What’s funny is that in the area or antitrust, exists the only place in American jurisprudence where collusion by itself is illegal.

I don't think we do at all. This is simply supply and demand and market forces at work. Friendster and Myspace couldn't compete with Facebook. Facebook put them out of business. This is not an anti-trust issue at all.

I just can't understand why more people don't seem to grasp the concept of free market. Perhaps the only opening for online gun videos is for pro-gun, pro-first ammendment, etc.. people. That's a lot of people.

A video hosting platform can EASILY support itself a few hundred thousand users. No, it won't threaten You Tube at that size but it doesn't have to.

I actually just a read a good article on Esquire about how Amazon, Google, Facebook, and Apple need to be busted up for the good of the economy.

What's going to happen is that eventually, there will be legit alternatives to these garbage sites. Then, we'll end up with liberals playing the same game they play with the media.

They'll claim that anything not on the older "mainstream" sites is false or for weirdos.

Just look at the MSM today. CNN and MSNBC of have "progressed' from covering things in a brazenly biased manner to simply not covering them at all. And, their viewers have come to believe that if CNN or MSNBC don't cover it, then it wasn't supposed to be covered.

There have been stories in the last 6 months that a regular CNN viewer wouldn't even be aware existed if their friends and neighbors didn't tell them about it.

That's what is going to end up the case on the web also.

I'll be pissed if they touch Hickok45's channel.

ETA: There is another video platform that people are catvhing on to. It is called DTube. Most people say channels are getting compensated more fairly. The idea of it is a little hard to explain.

DTube Site. Not hard to navigate

Whose paying Youtube to delete gun channels?

Soros? Via DNC? Via Clinton Foundation?

YouTube has to be getting paid to do this just like CNN and all the others!

Again whose paying YouTube? Stop the source of the funding and you stop the commie DNC Party!!!

I only hope ISPs would decide to oblige the free market if it were to happen.

With Net Neutrality over with for now they could attempt to thwart any competitor of Youtube or even Facebook if they shared political leanings.

They have that right I believe, and then that would open the door for competing ISPs also.
