Looks like McCarthy will be the new house minority leader for the GOP.

For those that don’t know him well here’s his crew..

He’s going to be weaker than Ryan on every issue. Sad day for the GOP. Another person with zero balls in charge that won’t fight for a fricking thing.

Let's let the same people keep leading the House Republicans that were leading when Republicans lost the House.

Fantastic idea. What could go wrong? 10/10. Solid move.

Minority leaders need to be a pit bull...not a labradoodle.

But hey, he could surprise. Rs finding their gonads is not an uncommon thing these days.

Why? Why not vote for Scalise, who can be seen as a sympathetic character and carries with him a feel good comeback story? He's also not quite the puss mccarthy seems.

He is just like Ryan. Even Scalise is of the GOPe club. He sucked up to Trump but they are snakes in the grass. Jim Jordan should have gotten this. Kevin is a wussy that will stand with democrats wanting to impeach Trump. None of them care about the working class and tax cuts. They are clueless as they all have slush funds and wealth.

Scalise is part of the GOPe as well. They need to put a Freedom Caucus rep in the leadership, but that's not how they work

Have they voted yet? Chad the reporter doesn't report the vote total, or are you presuming the vote of McCarthy V. Jordon?

I don’t believe that the Minority Leader necessarily matters much if the other leadership positions put shite together.

Gingrich was only the Minority Whip until he, Dick Armey, and others put together the legislative and electoral push that became the 1994 Republican Revolution.

Minority leader Bob Michael was passed over by everyone else because he was content to stay in the minority than to do what was required to win control and push an agenda.

Is Graham going back to his GOPe ways?

I know Scalise is in with the GOPe, but he's a better choice regardless.

This is why it doesn’t matter that the GOP lost the house. They’re all weak cucks.

Unfortunate choice, it is increasingly starting to look like this will not be resolved by ballots.
