Please quantify it then so the rest of us can see that this is a reasonable risk analysis.

Also no one will prevent a pilot bent on crashing the plane.

This is why they give Hep B vaccines to your kids too, btw

This is why the medical industry pretended Monkeypox was a real risk to normal people

unfortunately we've built tons of policy around not hurting feelings or singling out at-risk/bad actors

I don't know if I'd chalk this up to the medical industry. It's the chick think that the media panders to. This chick think also tells major hospital systems that they can't schedule surgeries for people have haven't gotten the clot shot "out of an abundance of caution," of course.

I was planning a bird hunt in Turkey next year (first visit) but flared off for awhile due to the Iran stuff. Maybe 2028.

The largest underground ancient city in Turkey is Derinkuyu, which extends approximately 85 meters deep and could accommodate up to 20,000 people. It features a complex network of tunnels and rooms, including stables, storage areas, and chapels, and was used for protection from enemies throughout history.

I’ve always wanted to see Derinkuyu.

Interestingly, you will notice on many flights that there must always be (2) people in the cockpit.

Ex: Co-pilot goes out to the restroom a flight attendant takes his place in the cockpit while he is gone.

One wonders about the training class for the FA that has to watch over the pilot or co-pilot in those instances…

Also, you will see the drink cart turned sideways in the aisle with an FA bracing it sometimes when the cockpit door is open.
This is true.

We have a “2 people in the cockpit at all times” rule. And no, the flight attendants have absolutely no training about cockpit procedures. I usually show them where the jumpseat oxygen mask is in case they would need it in the event of a rapid depressurization.

And you’re right about the drink cart. They block the aisle with it before we unlock the cockpit door.
