My family and I were not going to take the Vaccine even if he was sworn in.
We are not anti-vaxxers, but we are vaccine hesitant and these experimental drugs have not been tested enough to put in our bodies. Plus, we have either already had your CCP virus and have antibodies, or we are healthy enough to survive your virus.

I mean just look at every vaccine thread upvotes/downvoted and the context of the thread. It’s really not complicated. Kind of weird to argue that the majority opinion here isn’t antivax when you’re antivax.

1. The government looks at people like numbers
2. More numbers will probably be left after this is over if everyone gets vaccinated instead of just those at risk as that will also slow spread
3. The government wants young people vaccinated “for the greater good” collective mindset
That is where balancing with personal choice comes into play. Would I get vaccinated “for the greater good”? frick no, half of this country hates me and I hate them back. But it made sense for me to get vaccinated in my personal situation, so I did.
You can hate the government response to covid and still believe vaccination is the right choice for you.
You can get vaccinated and still believe others have valid reasons for not getting vaccinated. I don’t look down on people who have valid reasons, I look down on people who have belligerent ignorance towards the vaccine.

I voted for Trump twice. He did some good and some bad. I’d like to see him sit the next election out and let someone like desantis take charge. I’d encourage everyone who can to get vaccinated. If you don’t want to, that’s on you. You most likely will be perfectly fine. But our society needs to go back to normal. No masks, no more lockdowns. That’s just me.
