You guys. Both sides. Contribute to this

Unwittingly, we all do.
We are so busy looking at shootings from our perspective, we aren't thinking about what the next nut job who is watching TV RIGHT NOW is seeing. And that's the case every time
Every shooting, some other potential shooter is watching and what does he see? He sees HIS gripes discussed. He sees that now everyone suddenly "cares" about the shooters gripes
I don't know the full solution, but i think it has to start with how we cover this shite.
Because no two ways about it, i think some shootings have been direct results of the coverage of prior ones

The full solution is to make it harder to get a gun in this country.
That's it, that's all we need to prevent days like today. But one side (not both) has made it their mission to prevent that, and thus accept that children will die to feed their fetish.

Mass murder of school age kids while literally being caught in the act is one of the few things that deserve harsher treatment than a cot, 3 squares, and a court room.

Go shoot up a school.

Exactly. They have no answer for it except to say some stupid shite like abolishing all public high schools and let the market decide. Unreal. There is only ONE side that's trying to come up with solutions. COMMON SENSE solutions.

You will never be able to make it hard to get a gun in this nation. There are simply too many out there right now (hundreds of millions) to make it hard to obtain one.
What you could do is shut down production of all new weapons and wait for the guns already out there to break or wear down
