What about fixing the US first? Like the system where corporations are "headquartered" at a PO box in a corporate friendly state?

Hey guys, we need to raise our taxes so if u could go ahead and raise yours so we dont get pounded in the arse by corps moving headquarters overseas... that’d be great.

Don’t worry about the taxes you’ll miss out on by our corps not moving to your country.

It sounds even more absurd when you say it out loud like that.

This is what happens when you appoint a token woman when meritocracy calls for a male.

It's a great way to ensure the US is completely uncompetitive in a global market. One needs to ask, why would anyone want that?

One can only hope "they" snap in numbers sufficient to influence things to come...

Yeah, if it happens sporadically, the media and big tech will be able to manipulate the reasoning and messaging.

Honestly I'm kind of impressed anyone in the admin gives a shite about how to pay for it beyond "print the money"

The US does this now with its citizens, and have done so for decades.

If you live in a foreign country you have to pay tax for that country....and federal US tax, even if you have not lived there or derived any benefit from the US for decades.

The French tried this on dotcoms and Trump put tariffs on the French goods. Biden will take the following approach, he will let the French tax them, as long as they pass the info to the IRS so the US can tax them as well.

I still dont understand why these dotcom companies hated Trump, he was their last bastion of defense against global taxation. They reap what they have sown.
