Wyoming's House of Representatives has just passed a Voter ID law requiring all residents to show identification before voting. The bill also allows for poll registrars to refuse voting to Wyoming residents who cannot show voter ID.

Unfortunately, it’s sort of moot, Wyoming probably doesn’t have a issue with voter fraud.

This should be a national law

Should be little the feds can do about it since the Constitution gives the state legislatures that right.
Not that our courts care about that old racist document.

Freedom demands that you have an ID!
It’s key in assuring a fair election to stop corruption from stealing our freedom.

That’s great but Wyoming isn’t the problem :)

Will the laws be followed and enforced though?
Laws were broken in the last election in numerous states.

Deep state is coming for all electoral votes in case you haven't been paying attention.

Sounds good. Every state needs to pass this kinda law.

Where is that in the definition of freedom?

Smart move to preempt the coming leftists. Also puts some positive pressure on other red states to follow suit.

Yea, but if that happened the Supreme Court would just rule those votes were illegal...

"Freedom dictates"?
Where is that part in the Constitution? This seems to be a states' rights issue here.

Lived in Sundance, WY as a kid. I can guarantee no ID was needed, everyone knew everything about your life whether you wanted them to or not. Maybe a big city like Cheyenne may need this.

This reminds me of liberals asking why you should have to be a citizen to vote.

If I didn't already live in a pretty great state (as far as politics, nature, the way of life, and the people in the panhandle of FL), I'd 100% be moving to Montana, South Dakota, or Wyoming THIS YEAR.
The wife and I have discussed it many times, and since my job can be transferred anywhere in the country - we'd move to one of them if she ever lost hers. We both really enjoy living on or near the beach, and the people here are actually pretty great.
But you just can't beat that nature and somewhat old school, slow paced way of life the country offers you. She grew up in Nebraska and I, Arkansas.
These governors/government in these states (plus the U.S. gov) are sure making it hard to not consider even harder. Luckily FL has a pretty badass governor in Desantis, but if we ever go Dem here I'M OUT.

The Republican Presidential candidate will now win Wyoming 80/20 instead of 70/30.
