The doom porn I read says we’ve been keeping prices down with SPR draws and that we are probably 6-8 weeks from disaster.

Well theoretically, gas should be around $2.60 a gallon. We'll see.

The price here should not be more than $2 /gal considering the experts say the US is now the largest producer of oil in the world more than the Saudi's!!!

Trump said we should investigate the oil companies price gouging and the price per barrel has dropped $4 in the last 2 days!!

It’s about the refineries. Just think of how many new refineries could have been built with the money spent on foreign oil entanglements over the years. If we had a functioning Republican Congress we could deal with the unreasonable environmental roadblocks to construction. What could have been.

That's right around the break even price to drill new wells and make a profit.

Oil & gas companies don’t set the gasoline prices at QuickTrip and Stripes. His rambling about that is playing to people who are ignorant, like any other politician who does that shite. Taking a page out of the Biden-Maxine Waters playbook.

Heck it seems like they have shut down a large percentage of the refining capacity in South La over the past 10 years.

2-4 new refineries built over the past 26 years would have been huge but environmental regulations imposed by Dems have killed any chance for us to get ahead domestically.

Just think of how many new refineries could have been built without the excessive regulations created over the years. Oh heck, they even wanted you to abandon hydrocarbons!!
