Doesn’t seem to be leaving a mark thus far, except amongst those who already hate him anyway. In fact I don’t see any logical reason why this won’t be yet another backfire that ultimately produces Trump a net benefit, same as all recent efforts similar to this.

That’s a fair assessment. I mean, the man has more lives than a herd of cats. He’s entered that stage of aging, however, where a person’s cognition starts to change. We saw it in Biden and how it accelerated towards the end of his term.
Trump’s mind goes a thousand miles a minute and that’s how he’s been able to juggle everything to this point. The number of fires that he has lit since Jan. 20 is incredible. He’s still able to mind all of them but it only takes one to burn you down when you’re the top dog.
Biden saw that during his debate with Trump. There was no recovering from that. Will Trump’s mind age better than Biden’s? He’ll be 80 years old next June and his body has started to fail him. Can his failure of mind be much further behind?

All the while making him look culpable? Sorry, I don’t buy it. His personality is “Trump first.” If there is someone that he is truly trying to protect, it would have to be a person who can do more damage to Trump than releasing all of the files would.
