They find something to complain about. Incredible.

They aren’t complaining about something inconsequential.

We’re falling behind and fast. The Burke, even the Flight III’s, are maxed out versions of 1970’s and 80’s designs. We can’t get a new class of ships to production in any meaningful sense for more than a generation.

Newport is tied up with putting out one Ford class CVN a decade, which is ridiculous, and Bath/HII can’t keep up with the DDG’s. Groton can’t do more than one Virginia a year, and that’s without considering that they need to start pumping out Columbia class subs to replace the older Ohio’s. All the while Ingalls is making LPD’s and LHD’s that we’ll never use.

But thank god we built 50 Freedom and Independence class bass boats that wouldn’t survive an engagement with 8 guys on a shrimp boat

This is so fricking annoying

Trump’s term is FOUR fricking years and not 6 fricking months

Trump was elected for a FOUR year term and not a fricking 6 month term

Let's see 8 to 12 hours a day for the last 23 years studying, analyzing, reading and trouble shooting avionics systems on multiple aircraft. Why they fail, how they interact with each other and what they can fully do. As to 1.5 hours a day flying it. Yea, I have forgotten more about those jets than a pilot would know. Like I said the records speak for themselves.

Haven’t democrats been in power 12 of the last 16 years. Under Obama the military was woefully underfunded to include the VA.

Falling behind? How exactly? If you control the skies you control everything. The rest of the world isn't remotely close to the F22 or F35. Much less the F47 or SR72. So now that you have seen the 47 and 72 what do you think we are working on that you haven't seen.

Have you ever participated in William Tell, Gun Smoke, or anything similar?

You said F 15's were 15-0. (by the way, I'm not bad mouthing the F 15. it's a bad mother fricker) What is the F15's record vs F16's in simulated combat?

How does that relate to today’s GDP. Big numbers.

Also, while you and I are having a difference of opinions between f 16 and f 15, it kind of proves my point vs the OP who sky screaming that B-2's are outdated tech and our military is in decline.

The F 15 is older than the F 16.

We have spent trillions on defense in the last decade, more than the next 10 countries combined.

So its pretty simple.....

We are absolute idiots in how to spend the money.....

Or the idiots are robbing us absolutely blind.

And I dont need the mouthpiece for the MIC, the Post telling me fairy tales.

Yea, I have participated in tons of exercises. Every year and 15s kick the shite out of 16s and 18s. 15s kick the shite out of everything except the 22s. The 22s are a whole different beast. I've only ever seen a 15 get a kill on a 22 one time and the pilot basically got lucky. Loved going to excercises against 22s because our jets were always downed so quickly that we were at the bar early.

People assume that the aircraft are just flying around with the same thing in them that they had when they rolled off the line. These jets are constantly being modified and updated with new avionics. All brand new systems, computers, wiring and weapons. The B2 is far from being outdated tech.

yea, I was going to bring that up as well. our planes that came out in the 70's have current advanced tech.

Where all were you stationed? I'll guess you were at Moody or Warner Robbins at some point?
