Would Trump be better off waiting until after the election?

Let me start off by saying I'm voting for Marsha Blackburn. Period.

But for a lot of Never Hillary voters, SCOTUS is one of the main reasons, aside from stopping her, that they voted for Trump. Heitkamp, Tester, Manchin, and Bredeson have had strong support from GOP voters in past elections. Will pushing the SCOTUS nomination until after the election be the best way for the GOP to pick up those seats?

I know. I have to hold my nose.

She made her political bones in Tennessee by being the leader in the state house in stopping a state income tax from being implemented.

Take the bird in the hand and try to vote now.

If the Dems block it, make them pay in November because they’re far more vulnerable in Senate races than Republicans this cycle.

Force their hand before the election. There's no force afterward.

Ex: Manchin, pre-election - I better vote for the nomination or else I might lose my job

Manchin, post-election - piss on 'em. My job is secure for 6 more years so to hell with them

Pre election, they have to vote on it.

Post election, if this is still a valid issue, I think most of them are out of office.

A theoretical issue may sway voters but an outstanding issue definitely sways them.

I Can't think of anything more stupid than risking a senate flip when you already have the means to put a solid as frick conservative on the court.

No.

If you can, put the nominee on the court as soon as you can.

Nope, 1 Oct should have a new Judge on Court. Trump should have 2 more appointments before his election.
