I think we should pull out of western europe completely whether they ask us to or not.
Dissolve NATO and let those ungrateful assholes defend themselves with their own money.

Sort of an aside to your question, but I wonder if there will be a point in our lifetimes when we have to pull assets out of territories in western Europe because they are no longer our allies. When the leadership of European countries resemble those of Iran, Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, Algeria, etc. Do we want US assets, technology and troops within their borders?

We should me leave all of Europe. Withdraw from NATO. All that once held us together, is gone.

We have everything we need in our hemisphere. We have nothing in common with those globalist across the Atlantic. Let them take care of themselves.
