My google skills are elite.

Your ability to post a simple link? Not so much.

Quantify them from what time frame? From inception? Probably in the millions over the past 20 years.

No clue why republicans are fighting over this.

It’s not republicans… it’s the woke right. They are just playing another angle of identity politics. It is no different than the left’s obsession over DEI

It's an embarrassment those dudes needed educated on this, I assumed it was common knowledge amongst the literate.

Maybe we just don't agree it means what you seem to think it does?

No,it means exactly what I think it does and it wouldn't have been an issue had those two dipshits not disputed it.

Its stunning how dumb the average American is.

What does a breakdown of petitions filed for H1Bs by prospective new visa holders and prospective continuing visa holders mean in the debate about whether the H1B visa program, as administered, is good for the American economy while over 20 million able-bodied Americans sit the labor pool out and we continue to graduate future leaches on society from our high schools?

Ask Bucky or Lil Johnny, they are the ones who disputed it and thought it was a big deal. from their comments I assume they listed to the retards who said hundreds of thousands of new ones come each year.

Youre asking the wrong person

When I post a job I prefer to hire American, however, the applicant pool is 75% foreign with the majority of those seeking sponsorship. There just aren’t enough Americans doing STEM degrees whereas it seems there’s a large supply of foreigners that have them.

The PDF you provided, and Rog blindly believed like a clapping seal, doesn't say anything about the number of new visas granted vs the number of renewals/extensions.

The government admits to granting about 160k H1B visas per year. You're claiming the vast majority are 1 year renewals. I'm asking for a link showing evidence of that.

I keep seeing in thread after thread the claim that Indians have completely taken over tech jobs in the US.

Then I see HB1 is only like 85K granted per year AND there's a limit on India of like 3K/year.

It does not seem like both of these things can be true at once. Does anyone here have the actual data that can set a real denominator? TIA

Don't focus on the term "H-1B." When it comes to terms and wordology, you aren't going to get many clear answers. Only deception and confusion is what you will find if you focus on this, because there is all sorts of fine print and other stuff thrown in, that is deceptively hidden from the public. The government intends for it to be this way so the public won't know what they are supporting.

It's obviously that these "legal immigrants" are everywhere today, and are in every field, from IT to the skilled trades regardless of what label they put on it. Trying to figure out what category or label they fall under doesn't concern me. We know that we would rather not have them here, because they are taking over America, and taking jobs, against the interest of the American people.
