Would A&M have been forced to kick Dan Campbell off the team if he played today?

During the last Aggie Bonfire (November 1998), A&M Tight End Dan Campbell got up to the microphone two days before the t.u. game and made this infamous speech:
"I'm PROUD that I go to a school where men like women...and women like men! Beat the hell out of t.u.!"
Of course the entire audience busted out laughing than in raucous applause.
He was pressured to publicly apologize 3 months later.

Y’all love to make jokes, and we deserve it based on our posters here, but A&M is one of the least LGBT friendly public universities in America.
