Would a solid protest be pulling money out of banks?

A Republican bank run would bankrupt the entire world economy within a year.

This is a nonsense idea. The result would be worse than what you have now. Likely make a totalitarian dictatorship easy to arise.

Look at the result of the late 1920's bank turmoil. We got FDR, and a whoooooole bunch of socialism as a result.

I think it's more effective to stop voting for incumbents and then to stop giving money to the major players in politics, as much as you can.

It wasn't my plan. I was just claifying and playing out the other poster's scenario to its logical end.

I started a thread about 2 to 3 weeks ago on the Money Board suggesting something like this against Chase. It is utterly ridiculous that Chase pays a whopping 0.1% interest on savings account in this present marketplace where Powell has raised interest rates so aggressively in the last 12 months. I understand the concept of Chase doesn't need deposits because of their massive size, but you also can't screw over, in good faith, the average person who's just looking for a one-stop-bank with this level of Jamie Dimon greed. Pathetic bad faith by a publicly traded bank like JPM to be this brazen and apathetic.

That's why its so odd to see so many on the right advocating for policies that will absolutely annihilate small and medium banks.

Well as much as I am for protests, but I will be pulling almost all my money out of my accounts, but it will not be because of protests.

I will have paid my mortgage, electric bill, cell phone bill, insurance, etc.
