If the tax increase is legal and not something fraudulent so be it. It sounds like an absurd increase or property appraisal though. I'd assume he could protest that at the assessor's office.
But if he campaigned for the dude, I can certainly understand why it's tough to have sympathy for him. That definitely changes things.

I laugh when people say TN is some great conservative landing spot now. Very woke areas in TN.
If Trump wanted to score massive points, he could use eminent domain to take this property and then lease it to the current owner for $1/yr as a landmark to capitalism or agriculture or something.
