Whoa boy. If that’s true I’d place the odds on it being intentional significantly higher.
It would also explain Trumps vociferous anti DEI comments today.
Any links?

I’m hearing “rumors” that it was remote control and nobody was on the helicopter.
There was 3 casualties. It wasn’t unmanned.

I read the rumors in other related threads on this board. The one about it being female pilot as well as the main thread, I believe.

I’m not doubting you if there were people on the plane, could it have been taken over by remote control without them knowing?

I believe 2 of the 3 have been released. I don’t know specific names off the top of my head without looking.

The best version of it being an accident kinda works if we're to believe the Blackhawk pilots were focused on the plane taking off, and not the one inbound.
ATC error? I don't know. Seems the Blackhawk was too low and too far out over the water than it should have been.
And, we're supposed to believe that 1 expert pilot was on a kamikaze mission, that the other 2 on board couldn't have been aware of their status?
Lotta things need to fall in place for that to play out as it did.

I think there are only 2 options.
1) No one on the helicopter saw the plane and it turned out to be a fatal mistake.
or
2) They all coordinated a suicide. Why do I say all? ATC was talking to them, and if something didn't seem right, or if the pilot in command was going against them, don't you think there would have been something out there that would give this option some weight.
Therefore, I think it is option 1 and here is my opinion based on this map..
They aren't going directly at each other based on this flight path..
ATC makes them aware of a plane to watch and they agree to stay out of their path.. I believe the plane they were supposed to stay clear from was the plane taking off in the OP video above. Therefore, their eyes are looking right at the airport focused on that plane taking off.
At their left, the airplane slightly changes it's path to land on Runway 33 instead of Runway 1 as it was scheduled.. and because of this, I don't think the helicopter ever saw the plane.
It's clearly a huge frickup either way, but I can at least make sense out of this possibility, combined with other heli pilots discussing how the city lights can somewhat blind you during night flights. I don't know if that gets worse or better with night vision goggles.
Either way, I just don't see a scenario where the pilot in command just says frick it and crashes the plane.

It’s confirmed it was a female pilot but I missed trans speculation. I guess we’ll see. No way Trump suppresses that info if true

The vide3os are taken from way north of the runways.
The plane taking off is rising from the other end of the runway. It looks close because you are looking down the runway.

The problem is any meds can ground a pilot. I’m not saying it’s not possible or plausible but they take meds pretty serious. That’s why I’d like to see if there is anyone currently AD in aviation on here.

Watching local Atlanta news and one of the members was from a suburb in Atlanta

Man did the helicopter really climb 100ft soon before impact? That would be hard to believe it was a coincidence.

Yep, that's not me, I know less than nothing- just regurgitating rumors.

When I was in our health was specific to aviation and had a flight surgeon assigned to the squadron so it’s not like they could or would go to a random doctor. I assume it’s the same in the army. This is why they’d be grounded immediately.

Does Flight Aware have the data for the helicopter like they did for the jet?

His behavior has been a little bizarre. Even for him.
Maybe he knows something we don’t—yet.

Going on VFR at night on a major approach lane of a major airport is insane.

So... I know nothing, BUT... It made me wonder about the medication issues when it is generally known and accepted transpeople are more likely than not on a decent amount of medication to treat their dysphoria.
