This is going to be glorious to watch. Dems can no longer contact their buddies at twitter to silence Trump. Elon will just tell them to frick off.
Donald Trump will never see the inside of the White House again. The MAGA Davidians need to let that shite go.
What's more likely to happen is Musk falls to corporate pressure and finds a reason to ban Trump from the platform again.
It's just a matter of time before a workable alternative to Musk's version of Twitter emerges and when that happens, globo-corporations and all facets of the MSM will move there, leaving Twitter to become just another worthless social media platform. Just like the one Trump is now leaving.

Just out of curiosity, what would you suggest is the next set of actions to take if they were to do such a thing? Say in a bizarre twist of fate that they did abandon Trump altogether, what then? Is there actually anything specific after trashing Trump? Or is that the sole concern??

Trump won't win the nomination. DeSantis will.
But Trump will spoil the well so thoroughly and completely for DeSantis that the MAGA Davidians will do one of two things. Stay home or vote for Trump if he runs as an Independent.
I think it will be the latter and once again, for the second time in my lifetime. An Independent "conservative" candidate will give the White House to a Democrat.

I’m asking if Trumpists heeded your advice and dumped him as step one, what are suggested steps two and beyond? Just vote for Desantis, end of story and end of advice? As of now all I’m really getting here is “dump Trump because I can’t stand him” and no real idea of what the next move is in order to successfully defeat the Democrats.

Yes.
Support an electable candidate who's a good conservative and who may be able to stave off the seemingly inevitable, full on socialization of this country.
The opposition party wants badly for Donald Trump to run in some form or fashion. They'll get their wish and it will likely come as an Independent candidate.
Joe Biden will be President of the United States of America again if Donald Trump is in the race. If he isn't, conservatism has a chance.

You make a good point. How anyone expects Rd to both be that staunch conservative solidly well to the right and be the guy who also captures moderate Democrats in play as well as independents as well as those vaunted suburban housewives, it doesn’t add up.
