I think he exposed himself pretty clearly with his attempt at trying to deny what was obvious in his email response (especially with her caveat about asking if there was anything else he thought needed addressing).

Now she's caught him saying he had no idea of Fanni and Wade taking any trips together but then providing messages between them where he states his awareness of their taking at least some trips together.
