Already have. The minute LSU cowered to the mob and showed how spineless they are, that was it for me.

So happy 2019 happened before the Marxist took control of LSU athletics.

the majority of people are supporting this for the sole issue of police reform. I think that's what most people are missing. Most of the official policies of black lives matter will never come to fruition cause there is massive disagreement among the general public and it's leadership over those radical policy ideas. A lot of people don't think about it that deeply. The act of kneeling for the flag and "disrespecting" the troops while doing so still has some people hung up, and that I find childish.

False

Well then. Sounds like maybe some of these people kneeling and some of the people in charge of the organizations should point that out before giving them money

I don't actually care about the kneeling specifically. The kneeling is just an outward symbol of what these pieces of s*** already thought. We should have stopped watching them a long time ago

Fiscally supporting people who want white men dead (and yes, BurnLootMurder wants that) is not something I'm excited to do.

Really? On what basis? What makes tou think tou know that? Ask your average person what they think BLM is about and it's justice reform, that's it. The average supportner isn't even aware of half the things someone like you brings up.

They also believe something that is factually false and want policies to counteract something that doesn't exist. Those policies by definition can only be anti-white

That doesn't change the fact that the NFL/NBA/MLB are supporting BLM and their ideas of basically tearing down the society built here in America. Who gives a shite if their demands won't be met? Those leagues are still plastering the logo everywhere. We'll just have to see if they take a ratings/attendance hit and how it all plays out

Indeed, he will run back to reddit and grab "comrades"....

How the hell did our board become so "infamous" in the first damn place? lol

Why does it make u mad that the school you love wants people treated equally?
I just don't get it. It isn't whether or not there is systematic racism or not. It's the fact that they believe that people should be treated equally .
Why would u want to represent a school that doesn't want that.

I agree. They should be treated equally. Every asian, latino, indian, native american, pacific islander and caucasian should get the same full-ride scholarship to a major university to play a kids game. They should then be given a national forum for displaying their skills in said kids game free of charge. They then should be provided top physical trainers, nutrition specialists and counselors to maximize their change of getting paid six figures or more to continue playing this kids game until they can finally retire early with a movie star wife. It's just equality.

Oh, and by the way...there are two many 7 footers in the NBA. Equality demands the league reflect more the average height in this country which is far below that.

what is that exact principle for you?

Several.

America isn't institutionally racist.

Inequality in outcome isn't evidence of racism.

Affirmative action is racist.

The abolition/defunding of police, the courts, and/or jails will pull us backwards as a society.

All black lives matter, not just the one's unjustly killed by police.

Marxism/Socialism is bad.

The nuclear family is good.

Silence isn't violence.

Riots, vandalism, assault, and theft are bad. Pretending America is racist doesn't justify that sort of behavior.

Simply put, BLM is an extension of the democrat party. Look at the other progressive bullshite that's piggybacking onto BLM.

Here's the Atlantic trying to explain why BLM is choosing sides in the Israel/Palestine conflict.

Despite what Don Lemon said, BLM isn't just about police brutality against blacks. They also care about the gender binary. But not the thousands of blacks senselessly killed by other blacks each year.

Wanna guess where BLM's donations are going to?

See for yourself.

quote:

The former isn't childish, I was speaking to those who still have a problem with the latter.

But the latter (folks upset at kneeling for the flag/anthem) is childish?

Do you know why they're kneeling for the flag/anthem? Because they think that both the flag and anthem represent a systemically racist country. Do you just leave a systematically racist country alone? No. You make large, sweeping changes. The flag and anthem represent a lot. It's not just a song or piece of colored fabric. It represents a set of principles and values.

And there's nothing childish about giving up something, no matter how fun it might be, if it conflicts with you're core values or principles.

So, again, you had it 100% backwards.

Man there is a mountain of evidence that minorities are pulled over/ stopped, arrested, & incarcertated at statistically significant higher proportions than white people. That's just a fact. Idk what you believe "doesn't exist"

When pro sports fails, these athletes will blame "the man" not themselves.

Blacks that are otherwise unsuited for various non-athletic careers in actual professions and with no real education to fall back on.

And if they dismantle college sports, then they similarly will be destroying another lifeline to leave the inner city wastelands.

Nose. Face. Spite.

This board is actually one of the largest political boards in the south if not the largest

It has long since stop being just our little corner and so Liberals are going to take notice because they can't stand for it.

It's particularly funny when we get liberals from Democratic Underground because they are so unaccustomed to even bumping into thoughts different than their own. They have the nerve to call our board one-sided when their site actually has policies Banning any thought they don't like
