Wouldn’t a CR make the reconciliation BBB irrelevant since a CR funds a lot of Biden woke crap that was supposed to be cut out with the passage of the BBB? I’m not sure how it all works tbh

Not necessarily. The BBB did other stuff like making Trumps tax cuts permanent. Of course the BBB had additional carve out appropriations but nothing like what’s required to run the whole of government.
The difference between a CR and the regular budget process before 2008, budgets used to have appropriation bills passed in committee before sending them to the speaker for one big bill. Congressional committees are broken now. So what we get is a CR which is last years spending, plus COLA plus any amendments that make it to the floor and are passed.
