Democrats would have never nominated a con man huckster to represent their party. They guy is nothing more than a carnival barker.
And just to put the OP in perspective, when is the last time the republicans accepted a democrat as president? Obama was accused of not even being an American citizen, Clinton was fricking impeached, Carter, ok, Carter was a dud no matter which party you're asking, LBJ was a socialist apparently, so maybe Kennedy? 57 years?

Which republican appointee are you speaking about? Meuller? Sessions? Rosenstein? The N.Y. Us Attorney who Trump appointed? I just want to clarify which leftist has got you upset.
They might be registered Republicans but their actions lately have been anything but Republican.

instead they nominated a corrupt, vile, self serving, murderous cheat and traitor who would sell any and all state secrets to the highest bidder

They're lawyers in the uppermost echelons of law enforcement in the United States. Their duty is not to be "republican" or "democrat", it's to represent the law of the land.

Clinton and Republicans in Congress worked pretty well together the first half of his Presidency. Then they got obsessed with what he was doing with his dong.
W Bush and the Democrats worked pretty well together until the Iraq war went to shite.
But yeah, most Republicans NEVER accepted Obama and worked from day one of his Presidency to fight his every move.

Because the right was a model of acceptance and good faith from 2008-2016.
remember when the vice president said romney wanted to put blacks back in chains?
or remember his "binder" full of women?
or harry reid claiming that he paid no taxes for 10 years?
or elections have consequences?
or that the tea party was the enemy?
or that republicans should "ride in the back"?
or that republicans are like Iranians chanting "death to America"?
or weaponizing the irs to target conservatives?
or comparing george w to hitler?

Easy answer is no matter who is president, you can count on half of the country hating them!
What we have now goes well beyond hate.

IMO this is the moment when things started to get really nasty. It's been a race to the bottom on both sides ever since.

Does kind of make you chuckle that people think the lunatic left would be acting differently with, say, a President Romney or Rubio. Lest we forget that not long ago they were ready to burn W at the stake, now they prostrate themselves before him because he's anti-Trump. Any "Republican" who they are able to use to further a message is kept in good grace until such time that they are no longer needed, then they are cast aside and vilified as all the others.

The left's cognitive dissonance on full display. This is actually the one train of thought that has actually rendered many of my liberal friends speechless (for a moment at least).

Certainly a factor in the seemingly constant payback cycle we are in.
I've always felt the Watergate affair and the presses reaction to be a factor as well.
Seemed to me the press got overly full of themselves and began a path of activism and not the normal hoped for unbiased path of political investigation.
Then Carter and Iran comes along and the press goes 24-7 news cycle. Nightline and "Iran Hostage Crisis day 145" and another president goes down.
Almost two Presidents back to back brought down.
You can almost get the same quote from every single journalism student since on how they want to "change things."

No. Even a RHINO like Kasich would be completely vilified by the left as literally Hitler.
Posted on 4/10/18 at 9:41 am to Eli Goldfinger
The Left (the brainwashed Globalist shills) only respond to brute force. Eventually, that's what we'll have to resort to.
Posted on 4/10/18 at 10:31 am to Eli Goldfinger
No, and ESPECIALLY not this Republican President.
Posted on 4/10/18 at 10:32 am to Eli Goldfinger
It will never happen. What makes things worse for Trump is that he is not part of the deep state. He said he was going to drain the swamp so the swamp is going to do everything they can to get him out before he exposes them .

Trump and the Republicans are just like democrats. Trump has always been a democrat. I can show you 1.3 Trillion reasons it's true. They're all scum so stop being an idiot and sucking from their tit. They don't care about you.
Posted on 4/10/18 at 10:57 am to Eli Goldfinger
Any GOP POTUS who is ardently Leftist and committed to Globalist International Socialism will be accepted by the Left and there will never be any compromise on that point, of that you may tell your Grandchildren to be absolutely certain.

A Republican would have to win big in order for them to accept . Reagan won big both times as did Bush 41 so they had to accept it because the election was essentially over both times by 10EST in the case of Reagan in 1984 before all of the polls closed
The democrats will not accept the results of a close election particularly as it applies to the popular vote. They believe that if you can run up the score in California and New York/ NJ that ,those numbers should be the most important....that is why we have the Electoral College so as to blunt that.
Think Nebraska back in the 1980's they would run up the score early in the season against cream puff but barely get by Oklahoma and lose in big bowl games where it counted
