One would think that a lawyer would understand that choosing a strategy designed to attempt to gain an advantage in a trial and that strategy succeeding are two different things.
What does this have to do with what Rudy did?
There was no "advantage in a trial" to what Rudy did. In fact, it avoided a trial on the facts by conceding in full.
He gained no advantage in the damages portion by this concession/admission.

That's retarded.
Also on brand.

The statement that's it's been confirmed Dems stole the election, for starters

I'm not shocked you're confused.
What advantage did Rudy gain?

Are you being obtuse on purpose?
Isn't that exactly why most people "admit" guilt? When they feel like they have no case (which is very different than actually doing whatever it was you "admitted" to).

Then you tell me. Why did he do it? Even if it was just to spare himself the ordeal of the trial, he still "admitted" something to gain an advantage. Even if that advantage was personal and not legal.

I hope you're not just reading Twitter and read the actual story on this.
How would poll workers fricking up and potentially invalidating 300k votes much more likely to be DEM, help steal the election?
Now, the discussion on how GA should have handled these votes is a separate one from any discussion using a version of the verb "steal"

They typically gain an advantage by doing so, like the example I already gave you (plea deal for lesser sentence)

Why did he do it?
I still don't know. It's utterly baffling.
My assumption was brain damage from long term alcoholism, which explains a lot of his idiocy from 2016 onward.
Case in point:

Proof is muh NO PROOF, according to those afflicted with extreme TDS.

Quit deluding yourself.
Although, also on brand.

And how did that help him, exactly?
People will settle to minimize losses and avoid trial, because the point of avoiding trial is to control potential losses. Same with taking plea deals. You control the consequences of the admission.
His admission did nothing for his damage portion.

But, if he had hard proof of wrongdoing, wouldn’t he want this to come out in discovery?

This story is not proof. I'm assuming you've only read posts from MAGA content creators.

Yes, me pointing out dishonest MAGA echo chamber nonsense is a thing I do on here often.

Ahh he conceded to the scoundrels to simply correct the record.
Makes sense.
To retards.
