She is not in favor of medicare for all.

She is proposing mandated private retirement plans.

She doesn't want to completely roll back tax cuts.

For a democrat today she is pretty moderate.

Will the old guard rally around her? Watch the money.

She is byfar the best candidate on that side.

But the rules are setup for her to fail.

All 10 of them? How long are we going to cling to this idea that there is some huge wing of moderate Democrats? It’s not 1992 anymore.

She’s actually the only moderate in the field.

Not sure she has the infrastructure to grow and she doesn’t poll well with blacks.

Demographically speaking IA and NH are her 2 best states.

After Super Tuesday I think she will start to fade.

the only person running that shares their values and wants to defend america and make it strong is trump, they just cant turn off MSNBC and CNN long enough to realize that yet, but by november they will be reluctantly be trump voters because the DNC has given them no other choice but suicidal socialism and insanity

Well there are no moderate democrats in my eyes but there are a lot that claim to be moderate.

Clinton for example.

talk is cheap

The Democratic voting base has openly shunned “moderate” ideas since 2016.

Rush made a good point - the Dems are trying to figure out which candidate will cause the least amount of damage in losing to Trump.

Klobucher? Trump beats 2 women in a row.

Pete? Probably want to preserve him for the future, I mean, he's only 38 FFS.

Bernie? They just can't stomach running a guy who isn't even a Democrat.

So, they're kind of stuck.

I agree they're mad at Biden because he was supposed to take one for the team and maintain the illusion they are a centrist party (and, frankly, they probably haven't been a truly centrist party since Harry S. Truman).

But you can’t discount the base of the democrats today: the Progs.

The Progs don’t like her at all. She openly reminds everyone that she opposes socialism, saying that she was the only one raising her hand in response to the question at the democrat debate. Moreover, she was a prosecutor that sent people to jail. Many of those people are people of color. And in more than one case, she has been accused of overzealous prosecution.

All the leading Prog voices are talking about these aspects of her record, and doing so with great animosity.

Shes not a moderate. Here are her policy positions.

quote:

Health Care: Amy supports universal health care for all Americans, and she believes the quickest way to get there is through a public option that expands Medicare or Medicaid. She supports changes to the Affordable Care Act to help bring down costs to consumers including providing cost-sharing reductions, making it easier for states to put reinsurance in place, and continuing to implement delivery system reform. And she’s been fighting her whole life to bring down the cost of prescription drugs

quote:

Reproductive Rights: When it comes to women’s health, it’s clear that there is a concerted effort to attack, undermine and eliminate a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions. The recent bans in states are dangerous, they are unconstitutional, and they are out of step with the majority of Americans. Amy will continue working to protect the health and lives of women across the country.

quote:

Shared Prosperity: Too many people aren’t sharing in our country’s economic prosperity. Shared prosperity is about ensuring all families have a fair shot in today’s economy, and Amy believes that this means investing in quality child care, overhauling our country’s housing policy, raising the minimum wage, providing paid family leave, supporting small business owners and entrepreneurs, as well as helping Americans save for retirement. She will also cut child poverty in half in a decade and end it in a generation with policies based on a report from the National Academies of Sciences.

quote:

Economic Justice: We must beat back decades of systemic racism and inequality. Amy believes this begins with early-childcare and fixing our education system, addressing racism in health care such as disparities in maternal and infant mortality rates, ending housing discrimination so that everyone can afford to rent an apartment and own a home in a good neighborhood for their kids, and tackling disparities in wages and in retirement savings.

quote:

Voting and Campaign Finance: The right to vote is the bedrock of our democracy, and we must make sure people’s voices are heard. But today the right to vote is under attack. As President, Amy will champion a voting rights and democracy reform package, including automatically registering every 18-year-old in this country to vote, banning states from purging voters from rolls for not voting in recent elections, putting same-day registration policies in place, and restoring the Voting Rights Act. And it’s time to pass a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United and get dark money out of our politics, as well as establish a campaign finance system that increases the power of small donors through a matching system for small donations.

quote:

Guns: Gun violence prevention policies are long overdue. Amy supports a package of gun violence policies including instituting universal background checks by closing the gun show loophole and banning bump stocks, high capacity ammunition feeding devices and assault weapons. She is also the author of a proposal that would close what is commonly referred to as the ‘boyfriend loophole’ by preventing people who have abused dating partners from buying or owning firearms.
