Will Bridges and Power Plants day happen before Trump goes to China?

Seems like it has to. If it doesn't then it looks like he's going there to ask for their help. But Trump doesn't want to kill their oilfields and this would jack them up pretty bad.

It seems like he's doing everything possible to not rush this since the Blockade effect compounds over time. That F15 pilot we got out was damn near a miracle and he knows it. This time we'll probably lose pilots. Which considering it's a war is to be expected. But I'm worried he's sacrificing good for perfect.

We have to finish this. But in order to do it, we're using a LOT of our missile supply. We still have lots, but we need a certain amount to make China and Russia scared we'll come do this to them too. And we have not ramped up production on these missiles yet. They're hiring for it, but it's not a reality yet and might take months to get there.

So does he go ahead and start smashing them before he goes to China or not?

No.

But it may well happen in the immediate aftermath. I could easily see him turning off water and power to all Iranian areas within 100 miles of Hormuz.

That works both ways. Trump really wants to be done with this but he has now opened Pandora’s Box. The status quo is not sustainable. The longer it takes to address, the longer the tail effects. Just an absolute mess that we did not have to start.

My sense is Trump has avoided hitting Iranian energy assets because of the sure retaliation on other Gulf energy assets. The last time Israel hit South Pars on March 18 Iran retaliated by hitting Ras Lagan. No apparent strikes on energy assets by anyone since then. If we start going tit for tat on energy strikes the crude crunch timeline will accelerate.

No good options now.

If you look at the war thread, he keeps complaining that their offers are garbage. So, he is basically backing himself into a corner for more strikes.

I want to see the "arm the uprising day" with air support. That looks like the only way to root out the armed thugs of the Islamic Republic.

They are garbage. His team puts in an offer, the Iranians come back with the same response.

It’s been that way for weeks and he still has done nothing.

He’s too concerned with his legacy to finish the job. Finishing the job will take some bad press for a little while and frankly may would be through most if not all the remainder of his term. Which he can’t take. He thought Iran would be another Venezuela and now it’s gone on too long he has no exit.

I don't think so. In fact, I don't think he'll do much of that. He's stated repeatedly, and our actions have backed it up, the intent isn't to punish the people.
They'll need bridges, refineries, and rail roads to support the country.....
if it gets that far.

Likely to happen while he’s in the room with Xi.

Trump has a history of breaking international news while meeting with adversaries.
