"Year Zero" introduces the scope and direction of the CIA's global covert hacking program, its malware arsenal and dozens of "zero day" weaponized exploits against a wide range of U.S. and European company products, include Apple's iPhone, Google's Android and Microsoft's Windows and even Samsung TVs, which are turned into covert microphones.

According to criticism, WikiLeaks is more cautious By editing the documents before the release, WikiLeaks will correct its operation this time: for the first time, documents have not been placed on the Internet as they have come to WikiLeaks. Thus, the names of the CIA employees have been deleted, their e-mail addresses and the IP addresses of their computers were also made unrecognizable. Last year there was sharp criticism of the publication process of WikiLeaks. Among other things, the whistleblower Edward Snowden, who had also worked for the CIA at times, had asked for such editing of WikiLeaks documents .

Wikileaks is run by the RIS. You guys love Russian Intelligence leaks but hate it when the NSA or CIA leaks stuff. This country is fricked. Conservatives siding with Communist Russia. Reagan is rolling over in his grave right now.

It means Wikileaks is editing documents by omission so as to not blow covers of field operatives.

U.S. Consulate in Frankfurt is a covert CIA hacker base
quote:
CIA hackers operating out of the Frankfurt consulate ( "Center for Cyber Intelligence Europe" or CCIE) are given diplomatic ("black") passports and State Department cover. The instructions for incoming CIA hackers make Germany's counter-intelligence efforts appear inconsequential: "Breeze through German Customs because you have your cover-for-action story down pat, and all they did was stamp your passport"

CIA malware targets iPhone, Android, smart TVs
quote:
The attack against Samsung smart TVs was developed in cooperation with the United Kingdom's MI5/BTSS. After infestation, Weeping Angel places the target TV in a 'Fake-Off' mode, so that the owner falsely believes the TV is off when it is on. In 'Fake-Off' mode the TV operates as a bug, recording conversations in the room and sending them over the Internet to a covert CIA server.
