WTF was the big rush to push it through this past week?

Is congress not in session for the rest of the year?

This is a very complicated issue that requires some serious deliberation.

Why the rush it to push it through like the Obamacare abomination?

Obamacare took a year to design and implement, starting in February 2009 with initial meetings to finally passing in March of 2010.

They wanted to take away obamacare on the same date as the date it was enacted.

March 23, 2010.

And when that didn't work, they pushed the date.

And when that didn't work, they pulled the vote.

The House and Trump wanted a drama.

Obama understood horse trading and got shite done.

It's the difference between someone who can close a deal and the dude from celebrity apprentice.

Would rather not wait until the country is broke. Not saying that will happen in a year but people are slowly losing their money to greed.

Having difficulty deciphering this, but did you just say that the country is going broke over healthcare, and the answer is to raise more taxes to further subsidize Obamacare policies?

The correct answer is that they did not want to do anything closer to midterm elections next year and risk losing their seat. All they care about is re-election.

There is no rush. The new rules don't need to be in place until the fall when we all make our healthcare choices.

Nope. I've always said I was conservative.

Well, financially conservative and socially don't give a frick about the way others live their lives.

I'm not moderate. The GOP party is a dumpster fire I'm staring at bc it doesn't have one g-d clue on how to be conservative.

Conservatives get shite done. Yesterday was a disaster.

Wow, here's another low information voter here guys.

States can't just offer unregulated crapola to its citizens.

Insurance is state regulated. If there were changes, it would have to be in law by no later than Q2 17.

So it would have needed to pass the house and senate pretty quickly, at least before May. This is the end of March.

They would need something in place to tell lawmakers what the laws were by at least the start of Q317, maybe earlier since insurance in states is regulated.

It can't be sold unless it's passed the necessary state hurdles.

A lot of people want Obamacare gone. Even a lot of people here in California. Many nurses out here are unhappy with the fact that illegals go to the doctor to get asprin instead of spending a few bucks for OTC stuff. I know Trump wants to complete promises, but he has 3.75 years to complete the Obamacare promise on this term. An unprepared and rushed plan is not the proper way to handle the future troubles of Obamacare. I think Congress, President and Mr. Price need to come together with a better plan.

It's not like the Republicans haven't been promising to do something about it for 8 yrs. it was a top campaign promise for most Republicans. It deserved top priority once Trump got in office. And the system is going to collapse, so the sooner you fix it the better.

The only people that think there is a rush are not politicians.
