Is Trey Gowdy legal scholar enough for you? Cause those were his same comments. You bootlickers are as bad as the rioters

Let's think about that for a second. If someone took a video of you kneeling on a man at your front door, that later died, would you expect to be arrested and charged immediately?

Or would you expect those in charge to do the right thing and investigate fully what happened and why you knelt on the man that someone videoed? Police protocol does allow kneeling on their neck to control them. The cop obviously did it for a ridiculous amount of time longer than necessary, but was that what actually killed the man? Remember, they did call the ambulance before the video started to get him medical attention for something. They also fired them all....and I can guarantee they have been told not to leave their residence until things shape up

I would and that’s exactly what would occur.

They lock me up because I’d have possibly killed someone..danger to society and all, like the cops in the video are..they could kill someone else while this is investigated.

I think you are under estimating the statement made by the Minnesota prosecutor saying the video showing George Floyd's death is "terrible" but says there's "other evidence that does not support a criminal charge"

Sounds like they are going to walk because there is some evidence that says different than the cellphone video.

I am not taking sides don’t really care but without all the evidence the prosecutor has we can’t really judge anything.

I'm sorry you don't believe in due process. I won't be part of a lynch mob.

Due process is about the trial, detaining someone who may have killed another while you finish investigating is to protect everyone else, ensure they don’t skip town, keep them from destroying evidence etc.

Sorry you don’t understand all this...they deserve a day in court.

Apparently, neither do the police.

Probably waiting for autopsy report to determine charges.

This. If they make an arrest and the autopsy doesn't back it up then they may lose in court. Better to CYA and do everything by the book and review all evidence first.

Detention and arrest are not the same. Plus it would give the appearance so you don't end up with riots destroying the city. Charges could be made as manslaughter and then later changed during discovery to 1st degree murder or charges could be dropped. All of this can be done. All of which would result in better outcomes than having to call in the national guard.

You don’t really believe this. The cop should absolutely be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law after an investigation.

I do, why don’t you? We saw on tape that he lacks any compassion for human life. The guy died while his knee was on his neck. He’d strangle an infant if he was mad or whatever was wrong in his fricked up head when he sat there while someone died.

We are only seeing snippets of the video by a media that has an agenda. For example, Floyd spit in the cops face so why hasnt that footage been on CNN or MSNBC?

I've seen 10 minutes of video leading up to the death.

If there is body can that shows evidence otherwise then the estate/family deceased has a right to see it including everyone in America. It is public information.

There is zero reason to not hold this up any longer.

Because I don’t think he intended to kill the guy. I think he should be arrested, tried, and convicted for his actions, but I don’t think he was trying to kill him.

Then he shoulda let him breath or at least checked to see that he was after he stopped moving for a solid 5 minutes
