Why is Voting Such a Pain in the arse?

Registration (not to mention registration deadlines). ID laws. Voting within your precinct.
Why the hell is it so complicated? And why isn't voter suppression a bigger deal than it is? If you are actively trying to suppress people from utilizing their right to vote in a democratic republic, you should be prohibited from ever being a part of the government.

Agreed. You should be able to do it online without any verification of identity or even citizenship or location.

You need an ID for tons of things in life

I’m not sure how they could dumb it down anymore. You fill out a piece of paper that requires you to correctly spell you name and address. You mail it off and you’re registered...

Voting is somewhat important. If you're too lazy to get an ID, register, and vote near your house, don't vote. It's a right, not a requirement.
