Those two statements are contradictory.
What is the incidence of serious illness 2° to CV19 in the < 65y/o crowd vs that in the general population for seasonal flu?
I'm guessing you don't know. I do.
What is the incidence of mild/asymptomatic illness 2° to CV19 in the < 65y/o crowd vs that in the general population for seasonal flu?
I'm guessing you don't know. I do.
What advantage is served in high numbers of recovered CV19 infection in the population vs the same concept for seasonal flu?
I'm guessing you don't know. I do.

Ban bet?
All said and done:
I’ll say over 60 million diagnosed
With under 25,885 deaths
You want some action?

What did he say wrong?
The people under 60s have very little to worry about. This is an old sick person bug, the vast majority of the population will have no symptoms, or very little symptoms... most won't know unless they have a test.

You're a nurse at a podiatrist's office, aren't you?
I'm 100% positive you aren't an epidemiologist. I'll take their advice, thanks.

First, he's using all caps like he's some-kinda specially entitled A-Hole.
Second, he 's ignorant of how pandemics work.

Let's hope. Thankfully, people who actually understand this are making decisions, not the pseudo-experts we have here.

How so?

Reading OP and those along these threads wallowing in self-indulgent denial makes me almost wish we had martial law declared to require these anti social self centered cucks (and everybody else) to stay away from other people, sick, well, old, young..

First - HAHA
SECOND: 60.8 MILLION SWINE FLU DIAGNOSED. Under 30,000 deaths.
Where were you and the govt then when SWINE FLU WAS WREAKING HAVOC AND KILLING EVERYONE?
Posted on 3/22/20 at 2:58 pm to Texas Weazel
3 months is significantly better than the typical American.

This is the curve that needs to flatten.

Comparing this to H1N1 is a quick way to let everyone know you're an idiot.

I can't tell you how many old men and women I've seen walk into one of my stores in the last week wanting to shake hands. Most of them to pay their bills because they refuse to learn how to and too impatient to pay bills or do anything else online or over the phone. It's mind blowing.

OP is correct. Problem is government types get paid no matter what and most of them are lawyers, therein lies the problem.

I’ll play.
Welp we didn’t destroy the economy for
H1N1
We don’t shut down the economy for influenza every year
We don’t shut it down for car accidents
We don’t shut it down for gun violence.
I’ll say the number that would get my attention would be somewhere in 3-5% range of the ENTIRE 330,000,000 population of the US
So somewhere between 990,000 - 16,500,000

a nurse at a podiatrist's office, aren't you?
But as nurses are bright folks, often with a ton of healthcare experience, that is no insult.
What is sad though is that in addition to a dearth of knowledge, you aren't apparently intellectually curious.
I asked you a few questions above.
Instead of engaging them, you are satisfied to toss invectives and conjecture about the person you're addressing.
Sad. But you geaux girl.

Really
I guess I must be missing the bodies piling up from COVID 19.
Where are y’all hiding the bodies?
Are these the same dead people that I was walking over with Trump’s tax cuts? Because that was a body count.

I agree. If Millennials and maybe some younger Gen X are asymptomatic or get very mild symptoms and can self recover, why can't we go about our lives? The old and those with chronic conditions should shelter in place and the rest of us can engage in commerce and labor. Yes, it would suck for old people to see young people out and about while they have to stay home and avoid quarantine, but bear in mind that they have lived their lives already. Someone in their 60s has nearly lived double my lifespan already, and people in their 70s and 80s have lived even more. Give us a chance to live already.
I said pretty much this ^^^^ in a thread yesterday, the only thing I would add is when you youngsters contract the Wuhan virus and recover we need to drain some plasma off everyone of ya......I guess the plasma of recovered individuals is effective therapy for those who are critically ill.
