Why is Loomer wrong about being able to question the health of Casey DeSantis?

Let's get out of the way that Laura Loomer is nuttier than Squirrel shite but she's not off here

Ron is running to be the leader of the free world. If he is going to be distracted over his wife's health shouldn't that be an issue to consider?

If several are doubting Joe and Trump's age and failing health (rightfully so) then why is this off the table for discussion?

I don't consider it to be wrong to question his ability to handle the job while rightfully also having to help his wife.

But it's still possible to run the country because it isn't HIS health. You can't run the country if it's YOUR health that's the problem.

oh...frick....that's the "problem"?

I take back my previous post. This isn't even REMOTELY close to questioning the mental capacity of the actual person running(or sitting) for President.

Thats fair but it is a distraction

No one blames him for being with her during chemo but he could have handled it better. He went off the grid for a few weeks. Can't do that as POTUS

Meh. Question it, sure. But if there’s no real issue, don’t harp on it.

I mean, Trump can do what he wants but realize that this woman is more articulate than her husband and this is what she looks like. If you want to attack her and say she faked having cancer go for it.

Not at all.

Here is a good opinion piece about the ordeal

Joe Henderson: Ron DeSantis’ absence could have been handled better

quote:

He was exactly where he should have been, but someone could have said so.

Anyone who would blame Gov. Ron DeSantis for choosing to be with his wife, Casey, during her cancer treatments last month should re-evaluate their life. And if he chose to keep that family matter private, that’s between him and his wife.

Let’s not forget that Casey is the mother of three young children and has a dangerous disease. I’m sure she is receiving the best care anyone could, and we all wish her a full recovery, but those chemo treatments are not the same as taking aspirin to make it all go away.

The long-term effects of chemo include cognitive difficulties, lung and heart problems, and the increased risk of other cancers. She has a long road ahead.

But when you’re the Governor of a large state like Florida, and you go off the grid for a couple of weeks the way DeSantis did, people will talk unless they know the facts. And for too long, they did not.

Political critics implied he was sleeping on the job while the omicron variant announced its presence in Florida with authority. When that happened, the Governor’s staff all but handed his opponents the megaphone to attack.

For instance, on Dec. 30 — while the “Where’s Ron?” mania was turning into a national story — the Governor’s Twitter account posted, “Had some great bagels from Bagelicious Deli & Bakery in Ocala.”

He had those “great bagels” nearly two weeks before that tweet went out. But to casual observers, it looked like he was hanging out at a bagel shop while COVID-19 cases hit the after-burner in Florida.

If an aide with access to his account sent that tweet out on their own, that would be a colossal public relations miscalculation.

A day later, another tweet on the Governor’s account showed him at a high school football game played weeks before.

That just made things stranger until a story on Fox News solved the mystery of the Governor’s whereabouts.

Again, DeSantis was where he should have been — at his wife’s side. And if you want to say that, well, she wasn’t in chemotherapy for two weeks while the Governor stayed mostly out of sight, I’d counter that we don’t know how well she was feeling during that time.

quote:

It could have said: The Governor will be at his wife’s side for the next several days as she undergoes further treatment for her breast cancer. The family appreciates your support and requests privacy at this time.

Most people would have understood, and those who didn’t would have looked bad. Instead, due to poor communications, this became a much bigger thing than it should have.

It was avoidable.

He won't have the luxury of taking a few weeks off as POTUS

I didn't say she faked it. Loomer did but my question is obviously not that unless you can't read.

Is he being distracted? Link?

Funnily enough the Trump supporters warned us all this time that the attacks against DeSantis would be vile and wild.

They knew that because it was going to be them making the attacks.

You guys would be all in asking the same questions about it being a distraction if it was Melania or Jill Biden.

Don't be a hypocrite. It is something to consider. Breast cancer has a way of coming back. Lost a cousin to it, had an aunt in remission for years have to deal with it again not long ago, and one friend of mine is about to lose his wife to it after a 5-year battle.

Didn’t loomer question if she even had cancer?

That she was faking it for political gain and wanted the medical records?

Sounds like you are doing the same thing

Stout you’re losing it man.

You’re asking if DeSantis “being distracted” by people accusing his wife of faking cancer is an issue but you don’t show any proof of him being “distracted”

This is low. Meanwhile Trump is lying on TS about DeSantis “firing” a guy in a super pac.

No I am not. I am asking if she has to continue to fight cancer will it be a distraction for him.

I actually did. I linked an article about him going off grid for a few weeks when she was taking chemo.
