Smoke screen.
That's nothing more than a preemptive strike to establish the idea that $600k was the baseline amount for some revenue channel over a certain period of time.
If it was inside job, hiding the $/checks at the church is crazy. To think Olsteen is fricking around with losing a mountainous money mill for $600k is crazy.

It would be interesting to see how much of it was in checks vs cash. The checks would be no good after all this time. Hard to believe someone like Osteen would screw himself for roughly 300K if you assume that half were in fact checks.The dude rakes in millions a month.

I’m by no means an Osteen fan, quite the opposite,but,is he even being directly accused in this? Like others have said, why risk the golden goose over just one egg?

As a 13 year old who spent most of my time in church not paying attn, I noticed and questioned an increased focus in time spent on fundraising & tithes vs any form of a sermon.
At what point in Olsteen’s luxurious lifestyle additions does the flock of sheep say “umm, this is getting concerning”?
